Our reports are individualised and we will aim to answer any questions as honestly and objectively as possible.
REMOTE
ASSESSMENT

For more straightforward solutions
We can complete a remote assessment for a range of reasons; to determine a return to work plan, to advise on adjustments or to discuss fitness for work. These are best used when a situation is not complex and you want to check that you are providing a clear pathway for an employee.

The employee will need access to a laptop or phone/tablet. We will arrange an appointment at a suitable time and send them a meeting link. The appointment should last no more than an hour. A short report will be provided for the employer.

WORKPLACE
ASSESSMENT

Best completed where we need to physically observe the employee, job role or workplace
We complete a face to face assessment to analyse the job demands and identify aspects of the role the person may struggle with. This typically takes 2-3 hours which includes an initial history taking from the employee of their health condition followed by a comprehensive observation of them (or someone else) doing the job. We provide a detailed report to make sensible and pragmatic recommendations to support a realistic plan for both employer and employee.

SUPPORT FOR DISABLED EMPLOYEES

Ensuring you are compliant with the Equality Act 2010
Everyone has a right to work and disabled employees can add real value to an organisation. We can assist and advise how to effectively support an employee with a disability, long term condition (physical, cognitive or mental health) or a neurodivergent diagnosis, to benefit both employee and employer. We can help you navigate the Equality Act to ensure that you are not inadvertently disadvantaging or discriminating disabled employees, and suggest adjustments that can be made. Because of our detailed knowledge of environments, we can also assess how accessible the workplace is for employees who have a physical or sensory impairment. Depending on the job role, this can be done remotely or face to face. The assessment will take approximately 2 hours. A detailed report will be provided following the assessment

FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT

To objectively determine an employee's functional ability to do their job role
For some employees an objective assessment is required to determine whether they can do their job role because of illness or disability. This is typically used for physically demanding jobs. We analyse the job demands and then complete an objective assessment to determine functional capability in relation to those demands. This is best done in the workplace itself but can also be completed using a battery of assessments away from the workplace. This takes 3-4 hours, followed by a detailed report. The assessment can also help determine any adjustments that may be needed under the Equality Act 2010.
